Apple Crisp
 

 

Ingredients:

 

·        4 cups sliced pared tart apples (about 4 medium apples)

 

·        1/3 cup (5 tbls) butter, softened—but NOT melted

·        2/3 cup brown sugar

·        ½ cup flour

·        ½ cup oats

·        ¾ tsp cinnamon

·        ¼ tsp nutmeg

·        ¼ tsp cardamom (optional)

 

 

Directions

1.     Heat oven to 375.  Grease square pan (8x8x2 inches)

2.     Place apple slices in the dish.

3.     Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly.  It should be clumpy.

4.     Sprinkle over apples.

5.     Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
