VIETNAM: NHA TRANG April 24-25, 2006

Nha Trang is a beautiful beach with hilly islands. We took an all-day boat tour which included swimming, snorkeling and lunch. And here is where I had my best experience of the trip so far: snorkeling over a reef. I’d never been snorkeling before, and I couldn’t believe how beautiful and incredible it was. The water was warm and clear and full of colorful fish (who knew it really looked like “Finding Nemo”?)

All over Vietnam they had these narrow, tall buildings.

We got up early to walk to the beach for the sunrise. We discovered that everybody was awake (at 5 a.m.!) and walking around exercising or doing tai chi.
